Well, the first one is much, much better than Arma, Arma II or the new OFP.
I didin't like Arma (First one) so much, it just wasn't as rich. Arma 2 just... Ugh. And the new OFP just won't run (A bad start) and when I finally got to it (with another computer, ffs) it just felt like it had been raped. It wasn't bad. Actually I like it more as an FPS, but it's TOO fun. It isn't realistic.

Anyway, if you ever see it in a SALEs bin for a low price, buy it. if you don't want to buy it, ware it or something, it'll work. The campaing might not be fun and all, but playing with friends (And possibly role-playing) is just so much fun. Right now, almost 10% of my favourite gaming moments online is on OFP. It's a cult-classic, and just wont die.

Well its 9 years old game, thats why it is so cheap.
I have bought it like 3 times already and soon 4th, damn lost all cds :/
